Connect 2024
Each year, our team evolves the brand direction; this year, we flipped the visual tone from dark to light based on company-wide feedback, bringing a refreshed and more open feel to the event.
For the first time since the conference’s launch in 2016, we introduced a hardscape stage design, replacing the traditional digital backdrop to create a more tactile, cinematic experience.
Connect 2025
Returning to San Antonio for the 2025 event, we built upon the success and learnings
from the prior year. We leaned further into the Texas-inspired visual elements—textures, patterns, and warm color palettes that gave the experience a distinct regional personality while keeping the global Cvent brand at its core.
When the design system was adapted for the London event later in the year, we discovered that those regional overlays added unexpected complexity—requiring a careful rework to remove location-specific elements. The final result still looked strong, but it was a powerful reminder that global scalability matters as much as local charm.
That insight is already shaping the early direction for 2026, when the conference moves to Nashville - aiming for a balance between localized personality and global brand flexibility, so the creative system can travel as effortlessly with the event itself.
